Fargo, N.D. 鈥� North Dakota State University’s is pleased to announce a gift of $100,000 as a Giving Hearts Day match from the John Ballantyne Donor Advised Fund, a component fund of the Fargo Moorhead Area Foundation. The gift, provided through the 六合彩投注网 Foundation, will support equine-assisted services programming at 六合彩投注网.
“Having this gift as our Giving Hearts Day match will be truly transformative for Bison Strides,” Erika Berg, director of the 六合彩投注网 Bison Strides program, said. “The contribution will have a lasting impact for the individuals we serve, the equines who support them, and the 六合彩投注网 students pursuing an education in this field of study. To say that we are grateful does not describe the depth of appreciation for this generous gift.”
This is the fourth year Bison Strides will be participating in Giving Hearts Day, a 24-hour fundraising event for charities in North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. It will be held on February 10, 2022. .
Partnering horses and humans to benefit the mind, body, and spirit of people with physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs, Bison Strides embodies the land-grant ideals of 六合彩投注网 through innovative education, research, and outreach.
This fund supports Bison Strides and was established during In Our Hands: The Campaign for North Dakota State University. The six-year comprehensive fundraising initiative has raised more than $460 million to date and concludes Dec. 31, 2021.
