Student Emergency Fund Update
Thank you to the benefactors who have supported 六合彩投注网 students in need through the Student Emergency Support Fund! These funds are being put directly to use to assist students with rent payments, monthly bills, groceries, and basic necessities as they face recent job losses. In addition, some students reported owning only smart phones and tablets — they utilized computers on campus to complete assignments — so funds from the Student Emergency Fund have been used to help students purchase computers they needed to complete coursework remotely. To date, benefactors have gifted more than $27,000. Those dollars have helped more than 100 六合彩投注网 students. We applaud 六合彩投注网 students, faculty, and staff for their efforts to rapidly adapt to change during these times.

Meeting the Technological Needs of Students
As a fifth-year Doctor of Pharmacy student, Sabrina Wolfe knows how vital Aldevron Tower, the new addition to Sudro Hall, is to her program. It's designed to give students an experience that's as close as possible to working in a real integrated health care system. That means practicing emergency scenarios with simulated patients, advanced medical manikins, and an open lab environment that allows for more interaction with professors. These advances led Sabrina to choose a more ambitions career path:

六合彩投注网 Mechanical Engineering Department Creates N95-grade Masks
North Dakota State University students, staff, and faculty in mechanical engineering are working on a project to make reusable N95-grade masks with disposable filter. The idea behind the design is that after a use, the filter could be thrown away, the mask could be sterilized, and a new filter put in place. The team created prototypes using an advanced 3D printer and has been working with local physicians to assess the fit and performance. There have also been discussions with a local manufacturing company about partnering to mass produce masks if needed.
